Hi Everyone,

Supported Lifestyleshas released their winter 2019 personal development classes. They include a women’s group, Speak Up, Sexual Education, Anger Management, Men’s group and BUDS group. Classes are $10 each. The deadline to apply is January 9th. Please see the attachments for more info and application forms.

Banff Mount Norquayhas a discount program one Wednesday per month throughout the Winter called Cool2Carpool, where you can get lift tickets for an entire car full of people for $50, or for $10 if you take the shuttle from Banff. Cool2Carpool days this season are December 19, January 9, February 13, March 13, and April 10. See https://banffnorquay.com/about-norquay/its-cool-to-car-pool/ for details.

Winsportalso has some great deals, if you can’t get all the way out into the mountains. Servus Ski Wednesdays, January 9, January 30, February 20, March 6, & March 20, you can get lift tickets for $12 from 3-9pm.

There is public skating and discounted swim times at City of Calgary facilities throughout the winter as well, all listed on http://www.calgary.ca/CSPS/Recreation/Pages/Deals.aspx

November 29-January 12:Deck the Walls group Exhibition @ Newzones Gallery (730 11 Ave SW) Come by and see some great new art. The gallery is open Tues-Fri 10:30-5pm, and on Saturdays from 11:30-4:30. https://www.newzones.com/deck-the-walls-group-exhibition-2018/ has all of the info and a taste of the art you’ll see.

Dec 22: Christmas in Kensington@ 10st St NW & Kensington Road, Noon-4pm. Wagon rides, free movies at the Plaza theatre, hot chocolate and a ton of fun. http://kensingtonyyc.com/ has all of the details.

Dec 26-Jan 6: Unboxed@ Telus SPARK Science Centre. Find creative uses for your holiday recyclables. Featuring a giant snow globe in the main atrium. Regular admission rates apply, or contact the CASS Resource Facilitator to sign out one of our community connections passes to get in for free. If you have any extra cardboard, please consider donating it to the science centre to help support this fun annual activity.

 Dec 30: Floatables @ Repsol Centre ()  The pool gets taken over for a day by inflatable floating structures to wild out on. Regular admission rates apply. https://www.repsolsportcentre.com/news/floatables-0
