Hi Everyone, 

Did you know that Max Bell Arena, along with the Genesis Centre and Marlborough Mall host the Active Adults Program? You can find out more about this free, casual, active living program here:

Summer is here, and Calgary parks are calling. Spend the day wandering around the river, through St Patrick’s island and Prince’s Island, head south to Fish Creek park, check out the labyrinth at 37 Silver Springs Dr NW, or find a green space near you.

Value Days for the upcoming Calgary Stampede:

July 4: Sneak a Peak- Entry is only $9 from 5-11pm

July 5: Parade Day – Entry is free from 11am-1:30pm

July 7: Family Day – Entry is free from 7:30-10:30am.

July 9: Community Day- Entry is only $2 from 10am-2pm, Free for seniors all day.

July 10: Kids Day- Free entry for kids and accompanying adults from 7-9am, $2 entry all day for kids under 12.

Jun 27-August 18: A Midsummer’s Night Dream – Shakespeare by the Bow @ Prince’s Island Park. Tues-Sun @ 7:30pm, Sunday @ 2pm. Admission is by donation to this can’t-miss outdoor theatre.

Jun 29-Jul 1: The Mac + Cheese Festival @ Olympic Plaza (8 Ave SE). Admission is free but you will been to buy food tickets.
