Hi Everyone, 

CASS is starting a Friendships & Dating workshop series! Please see the attached info sheet, application form, and schedules. The workshop program will begin January 15th, and applications will be due on December 18th. There will be an information session for participants, parents and/or guardians who are interested in finding out more, at the CASS office on December 11 at 2pm.

CASS is looking for Jigsaw Puzzle donations. If you have any puzzles kicking around (with all of the pieces, please!) contact the CASS Resource Facilitator to donate.

The Cerebral Palsy Association has announced their Winter/Spring programming. Programs range from gardening, music, art, and social meetups.  Check out https://cpalberta.akaraisin.com/ui/calgaryprograms2019 for more info.

Columbia College has free workshops on Saturdays-The workshops range from health a wellness to computer skills and more. You can find the upcoming workshops and more information at https://www.columbia.ab.ca/about-columbia/free-learning/

The PDD review is still open for engagement until December 7th, and there will be in-person community conversations about your services on November 27th and 28th at the Ramada Plaza (3515 26 St NE) Let PDD know what you need from them! https://www.alberta.ca/pdd-review.aspx

Safe4Life has a self-defence class coming up: December 1, 9am-1pm (register or find more info at www.december2018adult.eventbrite.ca  The class will cost $99.

Bob Bahan Pool will be closed for maintenance from Monday, December 3 until Mid-January for maintenance. Please plan accordingly.

Autism Calgary has partnered with Calgary Co-op to start up a food pantry. Check out https://autismcalgary.com/pantry/ for more details.

Dec 1: Himalayan Bazaar @ Glamorgan Community Hall (4207 41 Ave SW) 10am-5pm. Arts and crafts from Himalayan Nepal and Tibet.

Dec 1: YYC Alternative Christmas Market @ Inglewood Community Centre (1740 24 Ave SE) 10am-4pm.

Dec 2: Salon and Sale @ Wildflower Arts Centre (3363 Spruce Dr SW) 10am-4pm. look at, and maybe even buy art work from Wildflower artists. Artists will also be available to chat about their art and processes. https://www.facebook.com/events/2019569221467079/

Dec 2: Winter Sale @ Wolf Willow Studio (9 Spruce Centre) 10 am-4pm. Great natural and local finds.

Dec 2: Hot Chocolate with Santa @ Renfrew Community Hall (811 Radford Road NE) 10am-1pm. Crafts, games, carols and more.

Nov 27: Jazz Night @ Ambrose University (Airheart Theatre, 150 Ambrose Circle SW)7:30pm. Tickets for the performance are $15.

Nov 28-Dec 4: CUFF Documentary Film Festival @ Globe Cinema (617 8 Ave SW). Tickets are $10 for each show, multi-show passes are available as well. https://www.calgaryundergroundfilm.org/cuff-docs/2018/films

Nov 29: Out for Lunch Tour: The Arctic @ Glenbow Museum (130 9 Ave SE) Admission is $5 for this curated tour through “The Arctic: Real and Imagined” exhibit. Free for members.

Dec 1-2: Calgary Expo Holiday Market @ BMO Centre. 10am-5 pm. This is the Winter market for all of the Comic Expo fans out there! Tickets are $10. https://www.calgaryexpo.com/holidaymarket/en/home.html

Dec 2: Community Christmas Market @ Triwood Community Centre (2244 Chicoutimi Drive NW) 10am-4pm. Admission is by donation to the Animal Rescue Foundation.
